We have partnered with a global provider of industrial wastewater solutions who are in need of a Project Sales Manager. The organization are leaders in engineering and manufacturing of wastewater systems for industrial wastewater applications. Offering solutions for primary, secondary, tertiary and pre-treatment, the organisation manufacture a line of over 20 patented and proprietary technologies to help solve customer issues with sustainability, efficiency, flexibility and easy operation being the main focus. They are looking for someone who is well connected in the industry and has a good background with wastewater technologies to play a pivotal role in driving their innovative solutions to industrial clients. The candidate’s expertise and dedication will be instrumental in building lasting relationships and shaping the future of sustainable solutions for their customers.
This is a remote position, however the ideal candidate will be located in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Montana which is the territory this candidate will be responsible for.
Responsibilities
• Engage in Prospecting: Identify and target potential industrial clients within the assigned territory through market research, networking, and lead generation to expand the company's customer base.
• Understand Client Needs: Develop a deep understanding of clients' water treatment challenges by actively listening and asking probing questions, enabling the formulation of tailored solutions.
• Deliver Custom Solutions: Collaborate with technical teams to create comprehensive proposals and solutions that address clients' unique requirements, ensuring maximum value and effectiveness.
• Presentation and Negotiation: Conduct engaging presentations and product demonstrations that effectively communicate the benefits of the company’s offerings. Skilfully negotiate terms and contracts while maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Pipeline Management: Manage and update the sales pipeline, utilizing CRM tools, to accurately forecast sales projections and track the progress of each opportunity.
• Market Insight: Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, providing valuable insights to internal teams for refining product strategies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, engineering, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through post-sale support.
• Customer Relationship Management: Nurture existing client relationships by providing exceptional post-sales support, addressing inquiries, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
• Meet Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, contributing to the company's growth and market expansion.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree: In a relevant field such as Engineering, Business, or related disciplines.
• Strong Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of industrial water treatment and technologies, allowing effective communication of complex solutions to clients.
• Exceptional Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, solutions, and benefits clearly and persuasively.
• Sales Experience: Proven track record in industrial sales, preferably in water treatment or related fields.
• Customer-focused Attitude: Dedication to understanding and meeting clients' needs, coupled with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close deals while maintaining positive client relationships.
• Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills to comprehend client challenges and propose suitable solutions.
• Organizational Skills: Effective time management and organization to handle multiple clients, priorities, and tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility: Adaptability to a dynamic and evolving industry, market, and product portfolio.
